The aim is to get everyone racing at ALL levels and improve everyone's rowing inside a friendly environment. Members wishing to race at National Events and Henley Royal Regatta are more than welcome and will find the usual ergos and weights with weekend outings during the winter, those who are experinced will know the routine! and are welcome to join it!

Novices who want to try the sport are welcome. Please contact us as we have many new Novices who enjoy getting out on the water and meeting new people!

If you have raced before and like it or want to improve your racing technique or have ambitions to be fast, then Nottinghand and Union will help you make those steps from 'Wobbly Sculler' to 'a racing machine'.

Message from the Captain for the coming season

To all members:

The club has 5 main aims/strategies for this coming season, which are:

1.      Focus attention on our current members

2.      Separate the training activities into racing and non-racing

3.    Create more structure for training and participation, from now through to          September 2012

4.      Majority of the training programme and racing will be “club” based

5.      Contributing to the running of the club is a requirement of membership
